This Great White Shark is approximately 42" long, 17" tall, and 3" from the wall. I sculpted it from polystyrene foam, plaster, and epoxy resins. I carved the details by hand into the plaster, and carved the fins by hand from HDPE plastic recycled from plastic buckets, HDPE sheets, acrylic sheets, or a combination of these materials. It is reinforced with fiber mesh and steel wire. It is comparable to a fiberglass replica in every way. It is light, strong, and easily hangs on a single nail via the hole in back at its center of gravity.
