This broadbill swordfish is approximately 39" long, 15" tall, and 2" from the wall. I sculpted this beautiful billfish from polystyrene foam, plaster, and epoxy resins. I carved the details by hand into the plaster, and carved the fins by hand from HDPE plastic from recycling plastic buckets. It is reinforced with fiber mesh, and steel wire. It is comparable to a fiberglass replica in every way. It is light, strong, and easily hangs on a single nail via the hole in back at its center of gravity.
