23" long, 11" tall, 8" deep, and it weighs about 4.3 lbs. I sculpted this fish replica mount from polystyrene, plaster, HDPE plastics, and epoxy resins. I use both additive and subtractive sculpting. I carved every detail by hand, every scale, gill, eyes and then I meticulously paint it to match an actual fish. I carve the gills and fins from plastic that I purchase as sheets, as well as plastic that I cut from the old buckets that the plaster comes in. I also sometimes use acrylic sheets for a more transparent fin. It hangs on a single nail via a steel wire hanger that I also made custom for this fish. It requires nothing but a sturdy nail, or screw with a head for the wire to catch on.
